My IMMERSION Experience

Immersion is define as involvement in something that completely occupies all the time, energy, or concentration available. That is what I'm experiencing right now, you need to have your schedule open every SATURDAY so that you can visit your family in their homes. I'm tired often or sometimes on SATURDAY but I am not too busy to go to my foster family, that's why time is important in Immersion. Being a student, we must have plenty of energy to do work and on our studies. Energy is essential in Immersion because our foster parents tends us to do THEIR work. Finally, I am concentrating on , none other than, my concentration also. I concentrate on how they live in their daily life compared to ours. I also reflect on how they do their beliefs and traditions on their BARANGAY. Then I hope that at the end of our Immersion, I/ We learn so much from them and from ours also.

THIS SATURDAY, WE WILL HAVE OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY ON THE PART OF OUR IMMERSION AT BRGY. SALVACION.....

Noli Me Tangere

I thought it was boring but then again It was amazing especially the Pilosopo Tasyo part because it is so funny. The effects of the gunshot was so loud that even us was surprised and freaked out. But, overall, the theatre was awesome especially the kissing scene between Maria Clara and Crisostomo Ibarra that made the watchers giggles to their feet. The play was truly great and it made my day.

What Am I 10 Years From Now?

This is what I am expecting to be 10 years from now, I am going to become a professional pilot when I turn 25. This is my dream to fly high in the air someday and see the beautiful places God has ever created. If I graduate high school, I plan to choose this course. I wanted to become like this because I want to have a good income in the process, to help my family ten years from now.

Ten years from now, I don't think that I am sitting in the front seat and handling a big bird called the airplane. Because it's a big task that I need to handle inorder to have a better life and peaceful surroundings.

Teenage Marriage

Teenage Marriage causes early pregnancy for the girls.....
Teenage pregnancy is formally defined as a pregnancy in a young woman who will not reach her 20th birthday before the expected birth, regardless of whether the woman is married or is legally an adult (age 14 to 21, depending on the country). In everyday speech, the speaker is usually referring to unmarried minors who become pregnant unintentionally.
The average age of menarche (first menstrual period) in the United States is 12 years old, though this figure varies by ethnicity,
Teenage pregnancy has been defined predominantly within the research field and among social agencies as a social problem. A hospital-based cohort study was undertaken over 4 months among women admitted to a rural hospital in West Bengal. The study cohort consisted of teenage mothers between 15–19 years old and a control cohort of mothers between 20–24 years old. Data included demographic variables, available medical records, and complications viz. anemia, preterm delivery, and low birth weight. Anemia was defined as a hemoglobin level below 10 gm% during the last trimester of pregnancy, preterm delivery was defined as occurring within 37 weeks of gestation, and low birth weight was defined as babies weighing less than 2500 grams at birth. The Result: Teenage pregnancy comprised 24.17% of total pregnancies occurring in the hospital during the study period. In some cases, the father of the child is the husband of the teenage girl. The conception may occur within wedlock, or the pregnancy itself may precipitate the marriage (the so-called shotgun wedding).
Although a majority of teen marriages suffer from complications and often lead to divorce, some are successful. For example, in India, where teenagers are sometimes forced to marry by arrangement, more than 90% of these marriages will not end in divorce. In the United States, half of teen marriages dissolve within 15 years of the marriage. The rate of teen marriage, however, is decreasing due the many opportunities that are available now that previously were not available before. Presently, teen marriage is not widely accepted in much of the world. Teen marriage is most prevalent in culturally or geographically isolated parts of the world and it is decreasing where education is the focus of the population.
